We are currently recruiting a Junior Sales Person

Our sales team do more than just a 'job’. They ensure our customers get the best impression of our organisation.

The successful applicant is required to achieve maximum salesprofitability and growth within an assigned geographical territory (80 mile radius of home) and business market segments selling the company’s products and services. This will require personally contacting and developing business relationships with both existing customers and new prospects.

This an office and field-based role covering an area with an 80 mile radius of your home.

Summary of Position

· To maximise sales of the company’s products and services

· To promote Chemical Corporation (UK) Ltd as a leading supplier of janitorial products

· To manage business prospects through our CRM system (Pipedrive)

· To build customer relationships

· To develop own product knowledge through provided courses and other training

· To display a professional approach to business with a smart presentable appearance

· To keep abreast of technical and industry information

· To provide analysis of market area and competitor activity

· To market the company’s products on LinkedIn

· Must be able to operate independently with minimum supervision

List of Key Tasks

·Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory and market segment to generate new business

·Make telephone calls, personal visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers

·Research sources for developing prospective customers and information to determine their potential

·Prepare client proposals, report documents and quotations for current and prospective customers

·Coordinate own sales efforts with designated departments including Sales Management, Marketing, Accounts, Logistics and Technical

·Analyse territory to identify key geographic areas for further development

·Plan and organise an effective personal sales strategy

·Produce oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests and competitor activity

·Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, marketing conditions and competitor activities, advertising and promotional trends

·Develop a LinkedIn profile in-line with company guidelines and build connections

· Interact with customers/prospects via Zoom video calls

·Participate in trade shows and exhibitions

Qualification and Skills

·Fluent English Speaker

·Working Knowledge of Microsoft, Word Excel, PowerPoint; use of CRM system (important but can be trained).

·Capable of reading texts written in English and using mobile phone/ipad etc

·Two Years Sales Experience or Industry experience; may be combined with some level of customer service or inside sales experience

·Zoom Calls

·Driving Licence

·Education- Minimum 2 GCSE Grades A-C

·A-levels or College Courses an Advantage
