SUMMARY
Upgraded Mobil SHC 600 synthetic gear, circulating and bearing oils have been reformulated to increase productivity, reduce costs and lower energy consumption across the industry, especially in the energy, manufacturing, process, paper and metals sectors. These lubricants are approved by SEW for factory-fill and service-fill with preferential recommendation, and also by Siemens for use in Flender gearboxes. The upgraded Mobil SHC lubricants offer valuable energy efficiency benefits across a wide range of industrial gearbox applications. In statistically validated laboratory tests and field trials, Mobil SHC 600 fluids exhibited energy savings of up to 3.6 percent compared with conventional oils. Mobil SHC 600 lubricants offer extended oil drain intervals up to 6 times compared to standard mineral gear oil. In addition, these lubricants offer extended low temperature performance, enhanced air release, improved seal compatibility and outstanding shear stability.
IMPLEMENTATION TIMING
The market introduction will commence from December 1st 2011. Depending on inventory, there may be a transitional period when current material codes are available at the same time as replacement material codes.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Upgraded Mobil SHC 600 formulations are fully compatible with the current Mobil SHC 600 and Mobilgear 600 XP.
