Welsh Qualifier for 2026 World Corporate Golf Challenge to Take Place in Cardiff

A prestigious qualifying round for Welsh entrants to the 2026 World Corporate Golf Challenge will be held at the renowned Whitchurch Golf Club in Cardiff on Friday, July 10, 2026.
The event is being hosted by Chemical Corporation (UK) Ltd, who will welcome 90 competitors from across the UK for a special Charity Celebrity Golf Day, combining competitive golf with fundraising and networking opportunities.
The occasion promises to be a standout event on the corporate sporting calendar, featuring appearances from a distinguished lineup of sporting celebrities, including:
- Scott Quinell – Former Welsh rugby union and rugby league international
- Craig Quinnell – Former Welsh rugby union international
- Derek Quinnell – Former Welsh rugby union international
- Ceri Sweeney – Former Welsh rugby union player
- John Scott – Former England rugby team captain
- John Devereaux – Former Welsh dual-code rugby international
- Colin Metson – Former English cricketer
- Isaac Vassell – Former English professional footballer
Following the day’s competition, the top 6 players will compete in a playoff the next day. The final two winners will earn the honour of representing Wales at the World Corporate Golf Challenge Final, set to take place in Beijing, China, in October 2026.
